Position title
QA Engineer (Automation)
Description
Working in an agile development environment the candidate will work with cross functional teams of Backend, Frontend, Integration, BA and Devops to ensure that relevant things are automated and can be used on daily basis. The candidate will manage to increase testing efficiency and coverage through automation improvement. In addition, the candidate will be helping and training other QA team members to come up to a contributing level of automation knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Decide on best tools and techniques for automating a specific feature, product or problem
- Should be able to visualize what to automate and what not to and when to automate keeping in mind what can it contribute to our final goal
- Should be able to guide other team members, specifically; the manual test engineers and should be able to help them learn automation testing
- Should have knowledge of the industry standard tools like TestNG, Selenium and other tools from API automation.
- Should be very clear in his understanding of what is the best approach to be taken for a specific automation task
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as QA Engineer ( automation) in Product based company
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Experience in QA, working with test automation
- Passion for innovation and motivating others to adopt new testing technologies
- Demonstrates strong and critical thinking in terms of technology and automation approach finalization
- Detail oriented and organized
- Experience with agile methodology
